Ìpàdé is our place to gather, intentionally.
Ìpàdé is a word from the West African Yoruba language that conveys a sense of gathering and coming together. When we gather, it should be intentional. Ìpàdé isn't just another venue for rent or a social club for people of color. Ìpàdé is an incubator space where people dream, connect, and collaborate to realize their boldest visions. The dialogue sparked here is catalyzing movements for the good of our communities. Ìpàdé is a canvas made of Black Girl Magic that innovators, creators, and movement makers use to craft their next masterpiece.
Most importantly, we are a safe space where Black women and people of color can build networks of transformative change or just simply be.

Economic Justice
We invest in and partner with Black woman-owned and people of color-owned businesses whenever possible. From our vendor selection, to our Makers’ Market, to The Tanna Fund, we are laying the foundation for Black wealth and economic justice for people of color for generations to come.

We understand that we are first and foremost humans, being. We also know how harmful spaces can be to Black women, femmes, and gender-expansive people of color. Our unique self expressions and differences are to be celebrated.
