Investing in Founders of Change: Ìpàdé Selected for American Express® “100 for 100” Program

Hi, Movement Makers!

Big, big news at Ìpàdé - I am so excited to share with you that I'm teaming up with American Express® for their "100 for 100" program, a program built to support Black women-owned businesses who showcased innovation through crisis. As a program participant, we will receive funding and business education over the next 6 months.

I'm still a little speechless, to be honest. This week's news is a testament to being open and accepting of those gifts from the universe - the moments when opportunity, preparation, and action meet. I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but get ready!

Being part of this program will allow us to:

Grow the Community

We'll have support to share our mission, values, and the work we're doing for Black, Indigenous, and womxn of color with more change makers so they can find their tribe and a community of support.

Build the Business

We will invest in creating the infrastructure we need to take Ìpàdé to the next level and open our first physical location in Washington, D.C.

Pay Black and Brown Womxn for Their Work

We will continue to provide high-quality content and programming for our members and, in doing so, put that money back into the hands of people of color who are leading conversations, implementing workshops, and sharing their skills and expertise with fellow BIWOC changemakers.
